SAN JOSE, CA – In a bizarre turn of events, Penguins captain Sidney Crosby has disappeared out of thin air following today's morning skate at the SAP Center in San Jose.

It is believed that head coach Mike Johnston announced a new set of lines for the team, including reuniting Pascal Dupuis and Chris Kunitz on the top line with the captain.

While the team has not officially confirmed this as the reason for Crosby's disappearance, all Penguins beat writers on the road trip – except for Rob Rossi – are of the belief that it is the case.

He was last seen by an arena attendant walking in circles near an exit muttering "Why me?" to himself.
