BOSTON, MA – Upon returning home prior to the opening of training camp, an unnamed Bruins forward has admitted to having a "lovely" summer break.

"It was great to get away with some buddies and spend time on the lake," he was overheard saying to a local beat writer.

He said there was "good fishing" off the boat and that he found himself enjoying "a pop or two".

When asked by the reporter about how much alcohol was consumed while away, he was quick to assure fans that "the focus was more on getting some rest and relaxation before getting into a full-on training camp."

Despite an unusual offseason that saw Dougie Hamilton and Milan Lucic traded away, the native of Gravenhurst, ON said he thought the team had a good group of guys that could "surprise a lot of people this season."
