LOS ANGELES, CA – A local father of two is still trying to convince himself that purchasing All-Star game tickets as a Christmas present for he and his nine-year-old son was a good decision.
Todd Harvey, 36, said that his boy had mentioned something in passing about the All-Star game vote in early December. With Christmas fast approaching and no other ideas on what to buy, he decided to pull the trigger on the tickets.
"I think Ollie will get something out of it," Harvey told The Elbow. "It'll be great for him to see all those talented players on the ice together, and it'll be a good father-son activity we can talk about years from now."
"I'm sure there will be something there for me to enjoy, too. I mean, other adults go, don't they? Yeah, it'll be fun."
According to friends, in the lead-up to Christmas Harvey has been thinking about doubling down on the gift, and getting his son an All-Star jersey for his birthday in January as well.
After catching wind of his father's newest idea a few days ago, Ollie had been heard on numerous occasions dropping hints to him about absolutely anything else.
