TORONTO, ON – According to eyewitness accounts, a man wearing a Capitals jersey has spent the last four hours skating rings around beginners at a local rink.
The man, sporting a red Ovechkin jersey, arrived at the rink just before 9am and was still there as of 12:55pm at last report.
"He arrived with very little fanfare," one man said. "He came alone, and didn't smile or say a word to anyone while tying up his brand new CCM skates."
"But when he hit the ice, everyone knew he meant business."
With dark shades on and a hoodie under his jersey, the man weaved through hordes of youngsters while displaying excellent crossovers and impressive stopping.
When the Zamboni came on to clear the ice, he made sure to do one last lap after everyone else had left, and was the first one to return when it was done. By the time all the amateurs returned to the ice, he had already done three laps, according to one man.
"When a guy turns up with hockey gloves and sweatpants on, you know he's not mucking around," the onlooker said. "All the kids here today should consider themselves very lucky for being able to witness this display of superiority."
