DENVER, CO – The Colorado Avalanche today announced that they have released a new line of paper bags designed to cover fans' faces.

The bags range in price from $5.99 and $25.99 depending on size, and are now available at the official shop.nhl.com website, as well as the NHL store in New York City.

"Our fans have been making their own paper bags for regular season games this year, but they don't tend to fit too well and only last for a game or two at most."

"We thought it made more sense to offer them something more permanent that can last a few seasons."

The bags are made of a durable kraft paper fabric and come with a waterproofing agent spray. They will also be sold without eye holes, which will save fans from having to watch a second of the action, something that the team believes will reduce stress levels among fans.

"Covering the eyes also has the fortunate advantage of hiding the identity of the wearer while in their Avs gear. Family, friends and work associates won't have any idea who you are in these beauties."

The team also announced it will be selling jerseys that come pre-stained with tears. Those will be available in the lead up to training camp later this year.
