VANCOUVER, BC – Researchers at the University of British Columbia have found that "mic'd up" videos of players wearing microphones during play provide little to no entertainment value for fans.

The study suggested that despite fans being promised a sneak peak into what happens on the ice, what they really get is something completely different.
